Scope of Calibration
Calibration covers bridge, gantry, cantilever and portable articulated arm CMMs. Positional accuracy, repeatability and probing performance are checked against the machine's stated specification.
Results are issued by laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, with reference standards and measurement uncertainty stated on the certificate.
What Is Checked and Repaired
Calibration identifies drift before it reaches a part print. Repair addresses the mechanical or electronic cause once it is found.
Volumetric accuracy
Length measurement error is checked across the working volume per the applicable standard.
Probe qualification
Touch and scanning probes are requalified after calibration or any repair.
Axis repair
Scale, bearing and drive issues are diagnosed and corrected before recertification.
Air bearing service
Air bearing CMMs are checked for supply pressure and bearing wear.
Crash recovery
