A full account of what this website collects, keeps, shares and discloses.
What This Policy Applies To
cmmcalibrationnashville.com is the subject of this policy: what it collects when a request arrives, what that information is used for, and who is paid for the introduction. Requests made through this site are covered just as the site itself is.
Version of 2026-10-09.
Marketing and Referral Disclosure
cmmcalibrationnashville.com is a marketing and referral website operated by Nashville CMM Calibration and Repair. It is not a calibration laboratory, and no CMM Calibration and Repair work is carried out by the operator of this site.
Requests submitted here are passed to external laboratories. Those laboratories hold their own accreditation, work under their own quality management systems, and issue their own certificates and reports in their own name. They are selected on evidence of current accreditation and scope, demonstrated capability for the measurement being requested, and record of delivery.
The operator of this website is paid in connection with that introduction. Payment may take the form of a referral fee, a fixed fee for the use of this website, or a commission on work that is placed. That payment does not change the price you are quoted, and it gives the operator no role in performing, approving or certifying any measurement. It is stated here plainly, and again in the terms of engagement. The commercial relationship behind this site is disclosed, not implied.
Information Collected
Two broad buckets make up what reaches this site.
- From a request: name, company, email address, telephone number, the item, the quantity, the measurement points, the tolerances, the standard, and the turnaround needed.
- From the browser itself: IP address, browser and device type, the referring page, and the pages viewed.
This website collects no payment card details, under any circumstance.
What Information Is Used For
The purposes are set out here in full. Request detail is used to review the request, to obtain a quotation from a laboratory able to perform the work, and to correspond with you about the request and the quotation. Technical information is used to keep this site available and secure, and to understand which pages are used.
It is not sold. It is not rented or traded. It is not supplied to third parties for their own marketing.
Sharing of Information
Request detail is shared with the laboratory or laboratories asked to quote or perform the work, and with the service providers who host this website, deliver its email, or provide analytics. Those providers act on instructions and are not permitted to use the information for their own purposes.
Information is also disclosed where disclosure is required by law, or where an accreditation body exercises a right of access to the records of a laboratory performing work.
Confidentiality of Customer Information
The same confidentiality obligations that apply to accredited laboratory work apply here. Drawings, specifications, tolerances, measurement data and results supplied with a request are confidential, and they go only to those who need them to prepare a quotation or to complete the work.
You are notified of a disclosure the law required, after it has been made, unless notifying you is prohibited.
Cookies and Site Statistics
Cookies needed for the site to function are set. Where analytics is enabled, visits are counted in aggregate. Both can be blocked or deleted in most browsers; the site will still work, but a form submitted with cookies blocked may not be recorded correctly.
Retention
Inquiry records are retained while they are needed to answer the request, and for as long afterwards as accounting and record-keeping obligations require. They are then deleted, or the identifying detail is stripped from them. The records a performing laboratory holds are governed by that laboratory's own records policy.
Your Choices
What is held about you can be viewed, corrected, or deleted on request, through the contact page. The answer comes within thirty days. Marketing email, should any be sent, carries an unsubscribe link, honored on receipt.
Updates and Governing Law
This statement may be updated. The version published at cmmcalibrationnashville.com is the version that applies. It is governed by the laws of Tennessee.
